The Camargue horse

The best known and even famous race Camargue. The Camargue is already in itself a legendary image of water and sky s'ébrouent white horses and bulls graze noirs.Un almost myth.

The origin of the Camargue horse is unclear, but some consider it as the descendant of the horses Solutré. The Camargue, although situated in the South of France, has a very violent, very mixed despite sunshine.
The wilderness and wetlands of the region is subject to stifling summer heat and wind; extremely violent winter, the impetuous Mistral. Living in semi-freedom, still outside, nature has shaped this horse rustic, solid, and a frugal with any endurance race.
Formerly the "Camargue" was a horse farmer used primarily to trample the grain into sustained rates up to 15 hours per day.

Currently this little horse was born in dark dress which later cleared up to a white shading has become a saddle horse, for valuable help in gardians lélevage bulls. Small, docile, intelligent it adapts to all situations.
The Camargue horse does all its beauty in this land of infinite camarguaise where the sky blends with water.
